Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of FutGaffer — the futgaffer.com website, the FutGaffer browser extension, and, when they launch, the FutGaffer mobile apps (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.

1. What FutGaffer is (and isn't)

FutGaffer helps you complete FUT Squad Building Challenges using cards already in your club. It reads your club read-only, computes squads on our servers, and fills the pitch for your review. Nothing is submitted without your approval — single solves are submitted by you in the web app's own interface, and bulk solves for repeatable challenges submit only the squads you have reviewed and selected. FutGaffer is an independent tool.

2. Your game account is your responsibility

Using third-party tools alongside the game may violate the game publisher's own terms of service, and the publisher may take action against accounts it believes do so. You use FutGaffer at your own risk and are solely responsible for your game account, including any suspension, penalty, or loss of content the publisher may impose. If that risk isn't acceptable to you, don't use the Service.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or older where your local law requires) to use the Service. Keep your account credentials confidential — you're responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Plans, limits & the waitlist offer

• The Service offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier, each with daily solve limits. Limits and pricing may change; changes won't apply retroactively to an already-paid period.
• Waitlist offer: emails subscribed to the pre-launch waitlist receive 50% off their first 12 months of Pro (or the first annual term), applied to the same email address at launch. One per person; not transferable or redeemable for cash.
• Paid subscriptions, billing terms, and any refund policy will be presented at purchase when subscriptions launch, and may be handled through the app store you buy through.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a service;
• probe, overload, or disrupt the Service, or evade its plan limits;
• reverse engineer the Service except where law permits;
• use the Service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms don't grant you any rights in it beyond normal use of the Service. Your club data remains yours.

7. The Service is provided "as is"

We work hard to make solutions correct and cheap, but the Service is provided without warranties of any kind — including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or that every generated squad will be valid or optimal. The web app changes frequently and features may break or be discontinued.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including loss of virtual items, coins, or game account standing. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $10 if you paid nothing).

9. Changes & termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continued use after that means you accept them. You can stop using the Service at any time; we may discontinue the Service or your access with reasonable notice where practicable.
